Barefoot Blindfold – Fruit Routes

Experience daybreak and the dawn chorus  in a unique way with Barefoot Blindfold at Loughborough University.

Join artists Anne-Marie Culhane and Paul Conneally at 5am outside Loughborough Univesrity Pilkington Library for this Fruit Route (Anne-Marie Culhane’s ongoing art and environmental piece) event.

The event will invite participants to engage in simple tasks around listening,  being in and responding to a particular place and time.

This will then be followed by breakfast and discussion and sharing of stories and memories evoked by the barefoot blindfold experience.

The event is free but places are limited.

Bring outdoor clothing – dress for the weather!

  1. There doesn’t seem the possibility of leaving a comment on a-n’s artists talking where I saw this first, so I’ve come here. Love the idea of this project, sitting against tree blindfolded to sharpen hearing of dawn chorus, esp. the idea of doing this in silent group with unseen choreography of air-drawing. A generous gift back to nature. Won’t be able to be there but may get up early too and join in from afar.
