New Reality Records shows that being small doesn’t mean being limited. The Loughbohemia (some call it Loughborough) based label sends two of its finest, Russ from Bred Pudding and Paul, the self-appointed honcho of New Reality Records, on a mission to Lincoln. Their journey fused art, history, and sound with nods to the Knights Templar—odd yet striking. Lincoln’s magnetic charm left them blown away and led them, if by happenstance, high up in the roof space of Lincoln Cathedral. Frighteningly high and entirely worth it, this research venture even outdid the vibe of Gerry Farrow Band’s tune A Millimetre Off The Ground which features the fabulous Rainbow Frog Biscuits. New Reality Records goes far beyond music, it is a full-blown immersion in cultural creativity.
