Auld Lang Syne – Sliding Tile Game

Auld Lang Syne by Robert Burns Manuscript

Click the above text (below the image) for a digital version of a craftsman made floor based large sliding tile game artwork proposed by Paul Conneally.

The piece features a copy of Robert Burn’s own handwritten manuscript of a segment of Auld Lang Syne.

The large wooden puzzle is positioned on the floor with the original manuscript exhibited on the wall by it. Visitors are encouraged to engage with the original manuscript and keep referring back to it as they strive to complete the floor puzzle.

The puzzle is just one of Conneally’s ongoing works and ideas around encouraging new engagements and interpretations of original manuscripts held by museums, libraries and other archives.

Conneally can be contacted around new approaches to interpretation and audience engagement through creative practice via Love and Barley loveandbarley@googlemail.com
