When you’re walking, both with and without purpose, you become more aware of your feet and of the ground below them.
On holiday, beside the seaside, in the heat, is when those that don’t regularly walk find their feet after months, maybe a whole year of taking them for granted.
This finding of the feet is not just because they are being used more but also because the holidaymaker wears all manner of footwear kept in the cupboard or bought specially each year for the beach, the pool, the promenade.
