The King Stone is an outlying stone about 40m from The Nine Ladies stone circle on Stanton Moor in Derbyshire, UK. It has, as is the way with such things, acquired added inscriptions, these do not bother me but instead draw me in further. Today children run back and forth between the stones and their energy, the children’s and the stones, amplify each other. Some like to find stone circles deserted but of course they were made by people for people and the less people that visit them the less relevant they become.
