Playlist Babel
The phone opens to a flood. Voices from everywhere, rhythms stitched together, each track a convergence. Diversity promised, sameness delivered.
A drill beat from London, a chorus from Seoul, a rhythm from Lagos. Heritage creased into algorithms, identity flattened by corporate organisation. Still a stubborn accent slips through, a guitar line unpolished, reminding us of continuity, of place.
The listener scrolls, caught between openness and homogenisation. Plurality is muted. Convergence shouts louder.
