This is a night photograph taken by Conneally during a night drift back to his car in Leicester after he’d watched Leicester City FC beat Huddersfield Town FC 3 goals to 1 on New Year’s Day 2024.

The barbershop is on King Richard’s Road on the edge of the city centre but before the suburbs.

Passing by a barber’s always puts him back in a barber’s in Sheffield as a 7 year old watching his dad get his hair cut and waiting to have his own cut. A place of men and conversations about football.
