When William Buchanon and I wrote, recorded and released Dum Dum Dum back in 1979 we never imagined that all these years later it would be appearing on compilation albums, mixes and radio programmes. Originally only 1,000 copies pressed with sleeves hand folded and labels hand stamped using a children’s post-office set print pad. Over the last year Andy Weatherall, Julian Cope and Henry Rollins have all put out mixes / radion shows featuring Dum Dum Dum – it’s like time travelling – being in two times two place at once.
